The Buckshot Boys are...

Cassidy Crowley - Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter

Back in 2006 there were two bands: American Riot and The Vendettas. American Riot's members included Skyler and Brett while Cassidy was in the Vendettas. Both bands were practicing at Brett's house one day when Cassidy noticed that Brett was wearing a Hank Williams shirt. Following that day's practice Cassidy talked to Brett about the possibility of starting a country band with him and Skyler based on their mutual love of country music.

Not long after the trio had their first practice. Skyler (who had originally sung in American Riot) was on drums, Brett played lead electric guitar, while Cassidy sang and strummed rhythm. It was clear that it would work with one more addition: an upright bassist. Cassidy knew a couple guys, one of them being Evan, whose former band The Corsairs had shared a bill with the Vendettas. A practice was set up and this was the first time Brett and Skyler had actually met Evan. They started playing some old standards and a couple of Cassidy's originals. About two songs in Cassidy, Brett and Skyler decided Evan was their guy.
